DIY | Chair Makeover

I have been wanting to reupholster a couch for some time now. I've never done so, so I'm not sure why I've got this urge to do it so badly! I'm not even sure if I would be able to figure it out! Last week I saw an old dirty chair by the dumpster & I thought it would be a great way for me to practice. Little did I know, it would turn out beautifully! I love it & I'm so proud of myself! I think the next time I find a cheap couch on Craig's List that I like I'm going to buy it & give it a face lift! Now, to keep or sell the chair? That is the question! :)

{Please excuse the background of the photos! When I originally took the photo I did not want to take that dirty thing in my house so I took the photo on my back porch! When I finished, I wanted the backgrounds to be the same... & there ya have it.}

Just entered a little contest over at Somewhat Simple! She's going to choose her favorite "creation" out of the submissions! Could be a makeover, a project, artwork, a great recipe, etc! I submitted this Chair Makeover! I'm still so proud of it! :) This is the first contest I've entered in the blogging world so, let's hope I have beginners luck!
